Mexico-Week 68

Hola to everyone!  This week we had a hurricane in Jalisco (where I’m currently stationed).
All is well.  It rained for 2 days but we didn’t get anything worse than rain out here. Everyone in the mission called us though. We were the ones closest to it in the mission and apparently it was the worst hurricane this area has ever seen.  We live on a hill so the rain didn’t bother us too much.  Before the hurricane the elders in the mission office called us and told us to buy enough food to last us a week.  We were told that if the rain and wind got too fierce to go home, but it never got bad enough.

Our investigators are doing well.  Ceci and Daniel came to church and said that they liked it and so now we're working towards conversion.
My companion and I are doing well too.  She's very calm.  She’s been out 5 months today.  Even though she isn’t from Mexico she has learned to speak Mexican Spanish.  Where she lives they speak in vos.

We had a time change here so now it is an hour earlier.
Adios for now, Hermana Talbot
