Mexico-Week 67

Hola everyone!

Happy birthday to my sister Madeline!  This week passed so quickly!  I officially have 5 weeks left so, I’m also freaking out a little. It feels like I’m dreaming or something.

My new companion is awesome. She’s from Guatemala from the city of Guatemala. I keep forgetting that she isn’t Mexican and ask her all sorts of questions that she doesn’t know how to answer. We are both lost sometimes with culture stuff, but that’s ok. She has 5 months in the mission and is awesome. She has been very fun. She a break dancer (yup!) and loves to do her companion’s hair and makeup (yes, she has done mine and I managed to hold still for the eye part.) She’s very honest and direct.  We are both blunt so the elders don’t quite know what to do with us. J

The area is good. Our investigator, Daniel came to church, which was one of the biggest surprises of my mission. He is Hindu.  He’s old and vegetarian.  He believes in reincarnation.  It is interesting to teach him.  We never ever thought he would come to church, but he did.  He stayed the entire 3 hours and said he will come next week too.  It is so awesome and cool!  As for our other investigators, not too much is happening with them.

Here we are with Elder Rutter and Elder Ibarra.  They are the district leaders.
Adios, Hermana Talbot
