Mexico-Week 66

Hello to everyone!

I had transfers and my new companion is Hermana Rodriguez. I’m still here in Lagos.  Also, literally 5 seconds ago, I sprained my ankle. I’m going to learn some patience.
Saying goodbye to Hermana Cruz.
This is my new companion, Hermana Rodriquez.

I got into BYU-Idaho so I will be going to school in Rexburg in January.  I’m really excited!

It’s crazy, I’m officially on my last transfer.  6 more weeks!  I’m happy and sad at the same time.  I’m happy to see my family, but sad because Hermana Cruz left.  I’m happy that we are having success in Lagos.  We had 13 people at church this week!  Our investigators are progressing bit by bit.

This week we had a baptism :D His name is César Abraham Castro Romo. His grandma also got confirmed with him on Sunday. I am sooo proud of them. Seriously, he has made so many changes since I first met him. Before soccer was his #1 priority but now God is his #1 priority. He decided that he loved God more than anything else and so he started coming to church, paid his tithing (crazy!) and fasted. This is great :')

Our last day as a companionship.  I should mention how very, very sad I am to see Hermana Cruz go. She was a perfect companion and I love and miss her very much.

This week I got sunburned, had a baptism and dual confirmations, and helped my companion pack her bags last night until 2 am.  It has been crazy!

Adios, Hermana Talbot
