Mexico-Week 38

We got a little crazy with our painting!
Hola to everyone!  This week has been good.  My little brother asked what my favorite Spanish word is-it is esperanza (hope).
The General Women's Conference was amazing.  The zones combined in our stake building to watch the conference. I loved President Eyring's talk.  It was so powerful.  The next day, everyone wore bright colors to church to be like the women in the presidencies.
My companion is awesome. We’re sick from some fish we ate and we got food poisoning. NOT FUN.  Even when we are sick, she is still happy and works hard.
This week we taught Luis and Octavio.  They are our only progressing investigators. They’re going to be baptized in April! YAY!
Our ward is really starting to work with us. Normally we have 2 lecciones con miembros (lessons with members) every week.  This week we had 10! Woohoo!
We live with Hermana Tere Corbella. She has a cat and is amazing. She makes us smoothies and food and knows where all the best food is. She’s a widow and her son is inactive. Everyone knows her and loves her.  I love her :)
Today my companion took an English entrance exam and we cleaned the house.  Hermana Ibarra took the test so she could enter Pathway, which is BYU-Idaho’s program to teach English so that people can enter BYU who didn’t originally speak English.
Celebrating!
I’m so excited for General Conference! I can’t even begin to describe how important this time is for missionaries.
Celebrating and being silly!
My companion has been correcting my Spanish.  She does a lot. A LOT, but its good :) I want to get better.
Some missionaries from my zone.
gtg, time's up
Love to everyone, Hermana Talbot
