Mexico-Week 39

Hi everyone!
Hermanas Talbot & Ibarra
This week I learned that Easter like we celebrate in the United States is not a Mexican tradition. Eggs are not a part of Semana Santa (Holy Week). The people here light candles after dark and walk around hooded and silent. You should go look at some pictures online.
General Conference was amazing!  The talks in Spanish were better than the ones in English. The ones in English were distracting because of the translation.  I kept getting distracted by the little English I could hear.  It made it hard to concentrate. Also, the internet cut out during Elder Holland and Elder Uchtdorf's talks so I will have to go listen to them or read them later.
We were fasting, so we didn’t have Conference treats (which is a tradition with my family).  Fasting to get answers during General conference is the best!
All of Conference was great. One of the 70 was saying such good things so fast we couldn’t write fast enough. The one who spoke super loud and really, really fast, I think it was Elder Pearson. It was awesome.
Congratulations to my parents are their 21st anniversary!
Is it cold in Utah? Here it’s easily 90 degrees on any given day. I’m dying of heat and dreaming of snow.
Adios, Hermana Talbot
One more picture of our trio.
