Hello everyone! This week Hermana Perez went home. She was
officially back in Guatemala on Wednesday. Life’s been interesting with that. The
house felt empty so we moved everything around so that we don’t notice it as
much. It’s weird to not be in a trio...
But, I am still with Hermana
Ibarra so that’s awesome. She’ll be finishing her mission at the end of this
transfer so I’ll probably be here this transfer and the next :) the members are
going to buy me a house lol Just kidding.
This week was full of
miracles and problems. One miracle - we found an inactive who is willing to
give the church another shot and she loves to sing so we are putting her talents
to good use. She is teaching the members
to sing the hymns :) and, her friend that convinced her to leave the church in
the first place moved away, so there's a lot better chance of helping her :). Octavio
is going to be baptized in April! The whole ward has come together to help him
find the answers he needs and to show him how the gospel can bless him in his
life.
Hermana Ibarra has decided
to learn English and to finish her master's in Utah. (She might have to come
live with us mom - you'll love her)
Our problems: Luis’s
brother who’s 14 years ran away from
home to live with his girlfriend. So, he had to go home the week of his baptism
to look for him. You can imagine the problems he is having with his brother for
taking him back home (Luis is the one who found him)... :( So, his baptism will be put off for another
while yet... :(((((
We
were able to go to the Bishop’s house to cook.
I made zucchini bread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :DDDDD
In our Mexican aprons- cooking
IT WAS SOOOOO GOOD! I’VE MISSED IT SO MUCH. I ALMOST CRIED! But, seriously, we got to take it home and it
was so yummy!
Thanks for the package Mom!
:) When we went to send off Hermana Perez I asked for it :) CHOCOLATE AND
TWIZZLERS OH YA! We had fun with the St. Patrick's Day stuff.
Love, Hermana Talbot
