Hello!
I’m so happy!
This week I got a Christmas package from my family! It was great! Mom,
it came in good shape. It will be hard
to only take out one thing per day, but I’ll do it. :) We
got all sorts of decorations and presents.
It was everything I could’ve asked for. I also got Christmas music to
play on the piano. I screamed out loud from
happiness! (scared my companion to death and then she laughed at me because I
was so excited...)
My family has a tradition
of making ornaments out of candy and we hang them on my Grandma’s candy
tree. My mom sent candy and we made our
traditional decorations. It was awesome. Our house is super festive
right now!
I
sprained my ankle today. It’s a super
busy day so there isn’t time to rest it.
We're writing and then we have to run to two different citas
(appointments)...it’s a problem. It’s pretty swollen but, thank heavens, I
have an ankle wrap.
This week we started over
with our area. We started off with three investigators in total and only one with
a baptism date and ended the week with 4 investigators with fechas (dates) and
4 others. Definitely an improvement! AND, we had 10 people at church
whereas last week we had 0. We are super happy with the improvement!!!!
I haven’t had time to look for new shoes but the moment I find
some, I will be buying them. The only ones that I have are dying.
My family wrote me that they finished the Book of Mormon. My sister, Elena wrote that she prayed and
got an answer. That's so great Elena
that you were able to find an answer for yourself. I hope you remember
that moment and make your decisions off of it for your whole life. If
there is one thing we teach it’s that the Book of Mormon starts everything.
Because if it’s true, then Joseph Smith is a prophet and everything we
have in the church is true. I’m so happy that my dad really has the Priesthood
and is a worthy man to act in the name of God. It’s crazy everything that
falls in line with the Book of Mormon. I would love to hear what your
favorite part of the Book of Mormon is.
A yummy pomegranate!
Well,
that’s it for this week. I hope you all
have a great week. Love, Hermana Talbot
