Hola, mi familia y amigos (Hello, my
family and friends)
I finally got to go to the
aqueducts in Queretaro because I went on splits with another sister. They were in her area. They’re huge and
super cool and I have no idea if they are still in use or not.
Me and my companion in Centro in San Juan. This is a Catholic Church called Eagle Plaza.
Romueldo hasn’t come to church in 2
weeks and that's sad. Basically, our area is stuck in a rut and we're
working our hardest to change that. It’s little by little. Eliseo has a
dead end date for baptism this week. He’ll have to be taught by someone
else (other missionaries) in the future if he doesn’t keep this goal. He
promised that if he got an answer by Friday he would be baptized. So now it’s
up to him having an open heart!!! Pray for him!
So, this week was awesome. We
had divisions this week with the Hermanas Capacitadoras. (This is a title for
the sister leaders) I was in Queretaro for
4 days finishing the training of Hermana Plata. It was awesome. She
serious but super nice and gets the work done and is awesome. It was kind
of sad to not be in my area, though, especially since everyone else and I
thought that I was going to leave this transfer. But, I didn’t get transferred!
Now that I’m with my companion again-it was a party. We made fries
to celebrate :) We didn’t change areas. My companion and I are still together
(yaaaaaaayyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and everyone from the district is here except
for Elder Uribe. Poor Elder Schofield will be in San Juan for 10 and a
half months. They opened a new area here
so we will be getting three new people.
I’ll let you know next week how they are. I’m super happy that I wasn’t transferred!
At first, I really wanted to go, but after the divisions (splits) in Queretaro,
I knew I didn’t really want to leave. I like my area.
Hermana Bohorges goofing around spiders.
A present from my companion for my 5 month mark.
We took Elder Schofield's name tag. We have a lot of fun in our district.
This is the welcome to the city sign. We hiked to get here.
Goodbye for this week.
Love, Hermana Talbot
