Mexico-Week 7

Dear family and friends,
How it is that I have no time every week to write?  It is beyond my comprehension!  One hour is sooooo not enough time!
Send me the video of Josh singing for his voice recital - please please please please!
This week we had emergency transfers all throughout the mission.  I don’t know more than that but Elder Correa got transferred out and Elder Escofie is now training someone.  Craziness.  We had stake conference this week which is a big deal here and everyone pays a lot of money to go stay overnight in Queretaro for the conference.  The emphasis on missionary work is huge as well.  President and his wife both talked at different times.  It was awesome.  Only Irri attended the conference which means the other baptism dates are dead, but we got to introduce her to Presidente and he gave us permission to baptize her this week.  Now she and her boyfriend just have to get married before then.  The brother of Hermana Medina showed up at our dinner Sunday night (the members had been conspiring with him, not Hermana Medina) and she started crying and ran away.
I heard that a lot of people have died during their missions this week?  Mom, will you look into that and tell me more?
This is Romueldo.  We attended a baptism in another ward.  He has come to church 3 times in a row!  We are so happy!

We are very tired from all of the hard work that is life in Mexico.  Missionary work is good!
Madeline, how are you doing after your wisdom teeth surgery?
Here’s another funny cultural difference- apparently my bored face looks like I’m angry, so, I’m working on that.
I’m out of time for this week.  Hopefully I can write more next week.
Adios, Hermana Talbot
