Mexico-Week 6

 Hello (Hola) to everyone,
We are in an internet café as always - well, sorta.   It’s someone's house that is an internet café.  The stores here are the front of people’s houses.  It cost us about 20 pesos for an hour of internet time.
Both my companion and I are staying here.  Transfers are really stressful because you don’t know if you’re going to have to change your life all over again tomorrow or if you’re staying.  It’s very weird.

We deep cleaned our house today for the first time.  It was the first real opportunity that we have had - and it took us over 6 hours to do so, in the process killing over 50 different spiders (we stopped counting).  But there are no more spiders in our house or birds.  Mom, I took a picture of one of the spiders this week especially for you so that you could see them.  They’re HUGE and extremely poisonous (especially here where hospitals are miles and miles away).  No one got bitten (somehow and thankfully) but we had a few close calls.

Another two investigators have baptism dates this week which is awesome - Romueldo and Luz Maria.  So, we now have 3 progressing investigators.  We also had 11 investigators in church this week, which broke the record for this stake :) we are so insanely happy - the hard work is paying off!  I got letters this week during zone conference from both JoAnn Cook and Elizabeth Plehn.  It was awesome - I love mail!  We found time to run to Central to send them letters back, so those are on their way.  I also got Madeline’s post card from New York!!! :)

The Ward is awesome,  as are the members!  My favorite family is the Medina family - not related to my companion, as far as we know.  Medina is a REALLY common name here in Mexico.  They have 3 kids and are super nice.  One of my pictures has Romueldo in it.   He's the super nice grandpa who is like a grandpa of my own here in Mexico.
We live in a house, not an apartment.  We live with lots of bugs, which hopefully are gone forever after today.  We live by ourselves.
They give us so little money to buy food, it’s crazy.  I found the best bag.  We can use backpacks here now.  I love the wife of misión presidente.

 Adios!  Hermana Talbot
