Mexico-Week 61

Hello everyone!

This is beautiful Lagos del Moreno.

I just want to tell you guys that I love my companion. She’s the best. I knew her before in Querétaro and she’s extremely patient and is as tall as I am. It’s great. She’s lived a very hard life but has become an awesome person.

                                                                We visited a beautiful theater.
And a church.

I am excited the Alfaros opened an empanada restaurant (in Sandy, Utah).  They eat empanadas in all parts of Mexico.  I can’t wait to try theirs!  Yum!

Our area is almost all Catholic and NO ONE is married. That’s a big problem right now because we can’t have anyone en enseñansa (taking lessons) who isn’t married.   Of those we have right now no one wants to commit to a date.

The ward is good here, well, it’s not a ward, it’s a branch. But it’s bigger than some of the wards I’ve been in.
Here is one last picture from Irapuato.
Here are pictures of my new apartment:

This says Welcome to Lagos, Hermana Talbot
Elder Rutter (DL), Elder Ibarra, me and Hermana Cruz

We took away an investigators cigarettes and broke them :)

This says I need to fill out a form for my plane ride home....I’m not ready for that.  I started panicking. They gave me my luggage weight forms. I don’t want to have to deal with any of that.

One more scenery picture.

Have a great week!  Love, Hermana Talbot

P.S.  Here are some more pictures from our fun P-day.
