Mexico-Week 26

Hello Everyone!
Here's my new scarf I got for Christmas.

Our area is coming along.  We still don’t have any investigators and no one is home because of the holidays, but we have lots of citas (appointments) for this week and next week.
My hair is brown again!

My companion’s is great.  She’s learned a lot about me because I talk in my sleep. She recorded it and showed it to me - I talk in English, and then translate it into Spanish.  I talk about every part of my life.   Very interesting.   Now she sleeps with earplugs.

New Year’s is huge in Mexico. Much bigger than Christmas.   They have huge parties that block off the whole street and have AWESOME fireworks.  All illegal, but that doesn’t stop anyone. It’s awesome!
My first area had church at 1 pm. My new area has church at 8 am. 1:00 is sooooooooooooooo much better than 8.  So, I hope my family will appreciate their new 1:00 time. J

Not much happened has this week.  I discovered this amazing market that’s in our area every Friday.  Everything’s so cheap and awesome.  I love Mexico.  Madeline, you would die of happiness. I know how you love to shop.
This is what we found.  We bought everything there for 100 pesos. :)  That’s less than 10 dollars.  I’m so happy!

This area is very different than my last area.    We contact all day long.  People say, “Oh, I can’t visit with you until after the 6th” or just reject us completely.   So, I don’t really have any stories to tell this week.
Have a great week!  Love, Hermana Talbot
