Mexico-Week 11

Hey family and friends!
Well, this week has flown by! I seriously don’t know where the time went.  I got a package this week (thanks family!) and a whole lot of letters which I am EXTREMELY excited about.  I love American food.  Mom, my companion says “thank you very much” for the food and stuff.  She loves American chocolate and gold fish too.  Both are things we don’t have here.  I especially loved the M&Ms (they’re my favorite)!
To mom:  the package arrived in perfect condition and on the 20th of this month.
To dad - thanks for the story! I loved it and so did my companion (who goes home this week - CRAZY!)  I hope to have a similar experience soon.
About my hair - No, I’m not going to dye it dark for a while.  I like it this color, not for forever, obviously, but for now, I really like it.  Do you?
The hike was super pretty! It was pretty funny to watch the Latinos try to climb it.  I mean, this is a little baby mountain.  It doesn’t even qualify as a mountain in Utah. It’s about as tall as the hill our house is on, but there are switchbacks and the Latinos couldn’t go far at all without having to rest (my companion especially) so we ended up doing splits so that the Americans could go at the speed they wanted.  Hence the picture with the boys.

This week I learned a lot about the life of Jesus Christ.  I’ve been studying the bible and wow.  He did so many wonderful things!  I especially like the story about the blind and deaf man that he healed - he only knew someone was there when he touched him and he couldn’t hear him say anything but his faith healed him.  So crazy! I want to be that kind of person.
How was Josh’s birthday by the way? Did he like the present?  Also, who is Cass’s teacher? What part of Mexico is she from?
I learned that Mexicans have a different version of the Louisiana Purchase than we do but no one will tell me what it is because they don’t want to offend me!  Someone look it up for me.
Thank you for the  towel  It is awesome and it was huge and fluffy and I love it.  The food was the BESTTHINGTHATSEVERHAPPENEDTOMEANDITWASAMERICANJUKEFOODANDOMGIMSOHAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   The wall hook was just the thing we needed as well.   Seriously, inspiration.  The chapstick I gave to my companion because she seriously uses 2 a week.
I may not be able to watch General Conference in English.  If that happens, will you send me the videos when they’re on the internet so that I can watch them?  Thanks.
That’s all for this week.
